Easter eggs are a no no for your cat!

With Easter on the horizon now is a good time to remind everyone that chocolate is bad for cats, so however keen your cat seems at the idea of a piece of Easter egg do not give in. It is really dangerous.

NO NO NO

Chocolate contains caffeine plus a chemical compound called theobromine which is toxic for cats (for dogs as well!). Humans can naturally metabolise theobromine but cats are not able to so this leads to a build-up which can lead to liver failure and other serious conditions.

So please be really careful this Easter.
