I'm a moggy and downright proud of it! But I am willing to concede

Why do cats purr?
I've been wondering about this for ages ... now I've found the
answer! Well, to be honest, I've found the answer in
a newspaper but it's not every cat that can read!!
Cat Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray this cushy life to keep.
I pray for toys that look like mice,
And sofa cushions, soft and nice.
I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,
And someone nice to scratch my back,
For windowsills all warm and bright,
