Rugby, odd shaped balls and more ...

After all of last months problems I have decided to turn over a new leaf and to become the model pet! I'm trying really hard ...

Still trying ...

I really was trying so hard but ... it was THEIR FAULT. There I was, minding my own business having a little doze on the lounge window sill when in they came, booze in hand, to watch the rugby. Apparently England were playing Wales in some form of ritual savagery that happens once a year. Looked an odd mixture to me with lots of really little blokes and some really tall ones with coloured sellotape around their heads!

Anyway the game started and I nodded off ... to be woken by ear piercing screams from the humans ... apparently we had scored a try (whatever that is) ... I was so shocked by all the noise that I promptly fell of the window ledge straight onto a bottle of red wine. You can imagine the rest ... shrieks from the humans, j clothes everywhere, big red stain on the carpet. No one seemed concerned that I gone red as well - it's taken me ages to lick it all out of my coat ... hic!

I am apparently serving a one match ban for next weeks match against Italy ... doh!

Don't believe everything you read in the newspapers...
I've just been hearing about this report that says that we cats are going around committing mass murder on mice and voles and stuff. Sounds a bit exaggerated to me, one of these typical surveys where they interviewed three cats who made up loads of stuff and they have just multiplied it out of all proportion. I have not caught anything for ages because I can't be bothered to go chasing around to find things to eat - that's what I have the humans for.
