The hot news here is that the humans have discovered Feng Shui, doubtless another of their pointless fads that will last about two minutes but it will be fun while it lasts. In the past week the whole house has been turned upside down, furniture reorganised left right and centre! Apparently there was lots of 'bad Shui' because everything was in the wrong place. Stuff and nonsense if you ask me ... but when did anyone last ask my opinion huh? :-(
Oscar knows best... I knew this Feng Shui stuff was silly ... as usual I was right (smug contented grin from the uber clever cat). One of the humans has just tripped over the coffee table which has been repositioned in a really daft place because 'that's where the book said it should go!'. Oh yeah... the fact that you cannot go into the sitting room without falling over it is obviously something that no one thought about.
Hmmm... another reorganisation of the sitting room with the coffee table repositioned in another 'good Shui' position - now the other human has stubbed a toe on the table after tripping over whilst trying to avoid treading on me. I, of course, do not understand all this stuff and will continue, as usual, to lie around in the most inconvenient spot I can find. That's what we cats do! Oscar = positive shui.
Later in the week... Oh dear me ... they are still at it! Had a mooch outside for a few hours this afternoon enjoying the sunshine and came back to discover that they have now relocated my scratching post to a more 'good shui' position. I'm just not having this, what will it be next huh? Food in the bath, my favourite cardboard box in the attic ... harumph! I have retaliated by scratching a chair ... not 'good shui' or 'good Oscar' either ... they've really thrown a wobbler this time. Doesn't seem to having a calming effect on them 'shooey' stuff, does it?
